Shein Accelerates E-commerce Platformization! These sellers of these categories have settled in!

Recently, Fast fashion cross-border e-commerce company SHEIN launched its third-party platform “Shein Marketplace” in Brazil and the United States. This platform will host local and international third-party sellers on the SHEIN website together with the clothing products of the SHEIN brand, helping sellers reach a broader customer base. American shoe giant Skechers and maternity product company Lansinoh have joined Shein’s market.

Now, in order to “meet the growing demand for diversified products from customers,” SHEIN has announced that it will work with third-party sellers to sell product categories that go beyond fashion and clothing, including household appliances, smart homes, and home DIY products in this market.

Therefore, customers can now not only purchase clothing on the platform, but also smart home products such as portable washing machines, remote lighting, and bathroom and kitchen accessories, as well as home DIY products such as wallpaper. But SHEIN has not yet revealed which brands it will sell on its platform.

The expansion of product categories not only meets customer needs, but also allows the platform to provide customers with faster fulfillment times. SHEIN stated that this model will be gradually implemented in other markets in the coming months.
